2024 New Investigator Awards is open!

The National Alzheimer’s Coordinating Center (NACC) and the Alzheimer's Association have expanded the New Investigator Award Program to offer 10 awards, each with $135,000 in direct costs.

They are also offering a new NACC-REC Mentorship Program, designed in collaboration with the REC Steering Committee, to support new and early-career investigators during the application process.

To apply for an award, new investigators must submit a brief Letter of Intent by November 30, 2023. The online Letter of Intent also includes the option to Request a Mentor.

Applicants submitting a Letter of Intent are not required to submit a full application, and there is no requirement to have a mentor. Additionally, a detailed research plan is not due until application submission on January 30, 2024.

The awards are open to all new and early-career investigators affiliated with an Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (ADRC).
