2009 Brazilian "For Women in Science" Fellow: Lea Grinberg

The research of scientist Lea Grinberg, who has a passion for the brain ever since she was a child, compares the brain of people who have died with the symptoms described by their family member to determine the causes of degenerative diseases. Newlywed, she says that the life of a female scientist is much more based on perspiration, but that she sees inspiration as the first flame, essential for a woman to be a researcher.
